Waynesboro Police have confirmed that a possible abduction of a woman from the Kroger store on Arch Avenue was really a group of teens playing around.
As a result of media coverage after the incident occurred, Sgt. Brian Edwards says the teens starting turning themselves in around 9 p.m. Thursday. |

Mr Hay was stabbed in the stomach outside the Loft pub

A Nottingham man who posed as a pub doorman before stabbing a man who refused to pay entry has been jailed for nine years for wounding.
Martin Bent, 32, of Nottingham Road, Sherwood, stabbed Anthony Hay, 41, of Nottingham in the stomach on 20 January, 2008.
Nottingham Crown Court heard that Mr Hay almost died from his injuries and is still "terrified" of going out. |

As rumors of Apple introducing an iPhone Nano remain just rumors, some enterprising counterfeiters assumed the new device would definitely be announced at MacWorld.
In order to make some quick cash they therefore decided to start selling a fake version of an iPhone Nano product in the hope of taking advantage of the inevitable demand and short supply of the device. These devices seem to be coming from Thailand, but have already made their way on to European markets. Whether they make it to the U.S. is unknown, but with no announcement from Apple it seems unlikely. |

China's central bank has issued a warning about fake bank notes ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
The bank said 100-yuan notes bearing the "HD90" serial number have been reported in 10 provinces. They have also been found in Hong Kong. |
